Time-wise, the DVD focuses on the years around the millennium, beginning with the 1999 "Dusted" clip directed by W.I.Z for Leftfield & Roots Manuva. Musically, Extra encompasses a wide range of electronic music, from dark electro to romantic techno to electroid hip hop and party tunes. The booklet includes detailed liner notes about each video.
