On February 14th, 2006 the highly anticipated debut album by Domino Recording artists Arctic Monkeys will be available at TuneVault.com. Released in the UK this week, the album "Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not" is on track to become the fastest selling debut album in UK chart history.

The album sold well over 100,000 copies on its first day of release. At this rate the album could sell over 350,000 (platinum +) copies inside of seven days, and is outselling the rest of the TOP 20 combined. Many shops in the UK fear that they could sell out by the end of the week.

This follows two singles that both debuted at #1 on the national singles chart (“I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor” and “When The Sun Goes Down”).

Arctic Monkeys return to Canada in March where they will be supporting Oasis at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto (March 20th), as well as performing headline shows at Toronto’s Phoenix Concert Theatre (March 21st) and Montreal’s Spectrum (March 22nd).
