Mark Robertson, singer-songwriter and guitarist of Montreal's critically acclaimed Bullfrog, has been hunkered down in the studio writing and recording for the last year. With the help of long-time band-mates Eric San (aka Kid Koala) and bassist Peter Santiago, they moved the studio from The Basement to The Garage and recorded the songs for their new release with Robertson, the heart of this operation, on guitar, voice and gadgets; Santiago lead bass and drums, and Eric San / Kid Koala on turntables.

Is this the long awaited Bullfrog puzzle piece EP number three or Robertson's first? Or both? The colour is Green, the voice dark blue; introspective, optimistic, sometimes subversive, but always melodic and fun. The music is deeper still; rootsy, lo-fi pop, bumping bass, funk guitar; often quiet and intimate. With deeper song writing, pop and R'n'B sensibilities and the subtle production and turntable skills of Kid Koala, the songs melt in your ears and run down your spine making the new sound cerebral and physical.

One of the hardest working independent Canadian acts, Bullfrog have played over 1300 shows to date and will be touring in support of Deeper Shade Of Green.
