From director Mike Nichols (The Graduate, Catch-22, Postcards from the Edge), Closer is a relationship drama that unveils the most brutal honesty and underhanded manipulation people are capable of in their quest for what they want. With more twists and turns than bowl of macaroni, each character's darkest side is revealed in an ongoing 4-way mind game which is ultimately won by the person you would least expect. Some raunchy dialogue and strong acting throughout make for an enjoyable, if stressful, evening of viewing.
