Recycled twenty-something teen angst pure pop love songs with the smoothest crunchy guitars you've ever heard, and an icy topping of retro keyboard swirls, twinkles and divebombs. Sneaking out through the bedroom window. Underwear. Tattoos. Breaking the rules. Underage drinking. What more could you ask for in a pop rock concoction? She should do a duet with Lou Barlow and create the silkiest pop combo ever. "Until the sun comes up and ruins it all". One part Go-Gos, one part Bangles, one part Avril, a dash of Ramones, 1 part Cheap Trick, 1 part Joan Jett, 1 part Scratching Post/Minx, a pinch of Foo Fighters, a sprinkling of Hole, a sprig of Crash Vegas. Heavy light music, or light heavy music? Pap-smear pop-metal? Post-love bubble-punk? Summer loving? Had me a blast.
