This guy at work keeps playing a mixed cd he burned Now I've come to expect to have to listen to some pretty questionable music at work but come on, a live version of the Eagles Hotel California, Abba, Play That Funky Music White Boy, Max Webster!? And he plays it all at least twice a day. So I've got to wonder, why not throw in a little variety like say Leonard Cohen, Lou Reed or For The Carnations?…. Hey I know. How about Giant Sand? They sound like all these guys. A little easy listening for the alternative minded. Oh come on back to reality Mike, people at work only ever like to listen to the same shit they listened to in highschool. Thank god I brought in my headphones and Chore of Enchantment because all it takes is one listen to a song like Shiver and I feel much better.
