Dale Waterman receives FACTOR award

Waterman has been awarded a Professional Demo Award from the Foundation to Assist Canadian Talent On Records, in the amount of $1000.00. "It is such an honour to receive this recognition," says Dale. He recorded his professional studio Demo at Distortion Studios in Nepean. Candidates for the FACTOR Demo Award are selected by a panel of music industry professionals. Dale submitted his very-rough piano-vocal recording to FACTOR, in the hopes that they could see beyond the simple production. Fortunately, they did. To Dale, this is a wonderful and unexpected surprise, and he intends to run with as far as it will take him!

Dale Waterman to perform at the After Eight Jazz Club on New Years Eve.

In an unexpected twist, Dale Waterman, normally known for his pop/r&b stylings, will be in Jazz mode on December 31st at the After Eight Jazz Club in Ottawa. He will be perfoming Jazz standards and highly-danceable swing tunes, backed by the Swingers, comprised of members of the famous Nepean All-City Jazz Band.
