This 'spooktacular' event - unprecedented in the annals of Canadian rock
history - takes place Friday, October 27th at Barrymore's Music Hall,
Ottawa.
The bands have spared no expense in preparing bone-chilling, blood-curdling
stage shows for this once-in-a-lifetime HELL-o-we'en horror fest.
At this very moment, extensive rehearsals are underway at top secret
locations in both Montreal (Gruesomes' hometown) and Ottawa (home base to
the 'Face). Special permits have been secured for a powerful pyrotechnical
panoply expected to be so blood-freezingly frightening that the bands have
arranged for a REGISTERED NURSE to be on the premises for the duration of
this entire teeth-chattering terror-fest!

Once called the best Canadian rock & roll group of the 1980s, the GRUESOMES
recently joined forces again after a ten-year break. Earlier this year the
band released its fourth album, “Cave-In!”, on Montreal’s Tyrant Records.
The Gruesomes are slated to play Cavestomp 2000, the world’s premier
garage-rock showcase, in New York City November 3rd.
WHEN? Friday, October 27th, 2000: doors 8pm, show 9pm.
