Live at the Rehearsal Hall: Kathleen Edwards - World television premiere - March 15 @ 8pm ET

Ottawa native Kathleen Edwards, along with her band, give an energetic performance, singing tunes from her first album Failer and her new release, Back To Me, for a delighted audience in Bravo!'s state-of-the-art Rehearsal Hall. This exclusive live-to-tape performance, hosted by Lance Chilton, has its world television premiere on March 15 at 8 pm ET.

Born in Ottawa to musical parents in the Foreign Service, Kathleen was studying classical violin by the time she was five and spent her formative years in Korea and Switzerland. Away from American commercial pop music, she began listening to her older brother's Neil Young and Bob Dylan records - a critical move that set the course for Kathleen's music career. By 2000, she was touring Canada. It was during the following year, while dealing with a romantic break-up, that Kathleen wrote seven of the 10 songs on her debut album Failer, and became known for her powerful lyrics. Her music is featured on the all-Canadian Men With Brooms soundtrack, and she was a performer at the 2003 "SARS-stock" concert in Toronto.

In Live at the Rehearsal Hall: Kathleen Edwards, Kathleen performs a number of songs from her repertoire, including the title track from Back To Me, and she calls up buddy, Blue Rodeo's Jim Cuddy, for a duet of Hockey Skates from the Men With Brooms soundtrack. Kathleen also speaks candidly with host Lance Chilton.
