Hollerado, winner of the Live 88.5 "Big Money Shot" contest in Ottawa last year, give OK GO! a run for their money with this awesome video. In just over two days, the video has already received over 42,000 views.
Everything from bass tabs to Space Invaders to "Guitar Hero"-like play to giant lettering is created by a group of friends on a huge scaffolding/warehouse type structure.
Director Greg Jardin slowed the music down 400% during playback, to allow all the people involved to change their cards on time and follow their choreography which consisted of 420 moves each. The resulting footage was then sped up 400% to return to the regular tempo of the song, resulting in the jerky, cartoon-like quality of the live-action video.
All we can say is, regardless of budget, this is some very creative work!
They're also heading out on tour this fall so catch them if you can!
